The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the advanced city slip for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) at its official website. Candidates who have registered for the exam can download it from the official website, ctet.nic.in. Candidates have to key in their application number, date of birth, and security pin.
Step 1: Visit the official website, ctet.nic.in
Step 2: On the homepage, students can see a link that reads as ‘ View Centre City for CTET July 2024’
Step 3: Select the link. After selection, candidates will have to select another link that will read as ‘View Centre City for CTET July-2024’
Step 4: Once selected, candidates will see below mentioned image on their screen. They have to key in their asked credentials.
Step 5: Candidates don’t need to download the advanced city slip but can prepare ahead if their exam centre is not at the state or city.
CTET is held twice a year. CTET 2024 exam will be held for two papers — paper 1 (for Class 1 to 5) and paper 2 (for Class 6 to 8). CTET 2024 January was conducted on January 21. Over 26 lakh candidates registered for the CTET January 2024 exam. As many as 9,58,193 candidates registered for paper 1 and 17,35,333 had registered for paper 2.
CTET 2024 results will be valid for a lifetime. “The validity period of CTET qualifying certificate for appointment will be for life time for all categories,” CBSE CTET information brochure said. There is no restriction on the number of attempts a person can take to acquire a CTET certificate. Candidates qualifying CTET may also appear again to improve their scores.
