CTET Answer Key News 2024 Updates: CTET provisional answer key released, how to raise objections

CTET was held on December 14 and 15, 2024. The CTET provisional answer keys along with the candidate response sheets are released today, January 1, 2025.

If the challenge is accepted by the Board i.e. if any mistake is noticed by the subject experts in the answer key, a policy decision will be notified and the fee shall be refunded. Therefund (if any) will be transferred online to the concerned credit/debit card account, so the candidates are advised to pay from their own credit/debit card, a statement on the CTET answer key release notification said.

The last date to raise objections against the CTET 2024 December answer keys is January 5. Candidates will have to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 1,000 per question.

The CBSE has made the CTET 2024 provisional answer key available. Candidates can check the CTET 2024 December exam answer key, scanned copies of OMR sheets and raise grievances, if any.

Qualifying CTET would not confer a right on any person for the recruitment or employment as it is only of the eligibility criteria for appointment as primary (Classes 1 to 5) or elementary (Classes 6 to 8) teachers.

The CTET answer key is not out yet. The ctet.nic.in will be hosting the CTET answer key when released.

Candidates will get time to challenge and raise objections. Once the objection window is closed, the decision of the Board on the challenges shall be final and no further communication will be entertained.

All questions in CTET will be multiple choice questions (MCQs), with four alternatives out of which one answer will be most appropriate. Each carrying one mark and there will be no negative marking.

According to a senior CBSE official, the CTET 2024 December session answer key along with the candidates’ response sheets will be released by January 2.

The candidates who appeared for the exam will be able to challenge the answers with a non-refundable prescribed fee of Rs 1,000 per question as processing charges, in case they are not satisfied with any of the answers. Only paid challenges made during stipulated time will be considered. Challenges without payment of fee and those submitted on any other medium (viz. email, letter or representation) will not be considered.
