CBSE Class 10 Supplementary Result 2025 Out: 48.68% students pass CBSE 10th compartment exam

Of the total 1,43,648 students registering for the CBSE Class 10 supplementary exam, as many as 1,38,898 appeared and 67,620 passed, taking the pass percentage to 48.68 per cent.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on August 5 declared the Class 10 compartment exam. Students will be able to check their results at the official websites at cbse.gov.in and cbseresults.nic.in, and also at DigiLocker using roll number, school number, admit card ID, and security pin. The verification process will start on August 8.

Of the total 1,43,648 students registering for the CBSE Class 10 supplementary exam, as many as 1,38,898 appeared and 67,620 passed, taking the pass percentage to 48.68 per cent. The pass percentage among the girl students is 51.04 per cent and among the boy students, it is 47.41 per cent. Girls have done better than boys by 3.63 per cent.

Step 1: Visit the official website – cbse.gov.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the Class 10 supplementary result link.

Step 3: Log-in using credentials such as registration number and date of birth

Step 4: The result will be displayed on the screen.

Step 5: Download and save the CBSE Class 10 compartment result for future use.

The CBSE Class 10 supplementary exam mark sheet cum passing certificate of the regular students will be sent to their schools and for the private candidates, the mark sheet cum passing certificate will be sent to their examination centers in Delhi and in other cities to the address given by the candidates in the examination forms.

The CBSE Class 10 supplementary exam was held from July 15 to 22 in 15,495 schools and 970 exam centres across the nation and in 26 countries abroad.

Last year, the CBSE Class 10 compartment results were declared on August 5 and in 2023, the results were announced on August 4. In 2022, the CBSE Class 10 compartment exam result was declared on September 9.

Out of a total of 23,85,079 students who registered for the CBSE Class 10 exams, 23,71,939 students appeared for the exams. Among them, 22,21,636 students successfully passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 93.66 per cent for the year. The CBSE Class 10 result was declared on May 13. The CBSE Class 10 board exams were conducted by the board from February 15 to March 18, 2025, in a pen and paper format. This year, 24.12 lakh CBSE Class 10 students appeared for the exams in 84 subjects.
