Common Admission Test (CAT) Do’s & Don’ts: The Common Admission Test (CAT) 2023 will be conducted on November 26. The two-hour CAT 2023 exam will be held in three sessions. While the first session of CAT 2023 will be held between 8:30 am and 10:30 am, the second will be from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm and the third and the last session between 4:30 pm and 6:30 pm.
The CAT 2023 reporting time for the morning session is 7 am, while for the afternoon and the evening sessions, they are 11 am and 3 pm respectively. The CAT 2023 conducting institute, IIM Lucknow, has already released the admit card at iimcat.ac.in.
The CAT 2023 admit cards mention details of the candidates including their names, application numbers, date and day of test, CAT exam time and session of the exam, reporting time and entry time, gate closing time. CAT exam centres details and exam day guidelines are also mentioned on the CAT 2023 admit card. CAT 2023 will be held online at designated test centres across the country.
– CAT 2023 hall ticket printed on an A4 size paper
– An original ID proof like Aadhaar card, PAN card or Indian passport
– Scribe affidavit, if applicable
– Mobile phones and Bluetooth devices are not allowed inside the exam centre
– Electronic devices including watches cannot be worn by the candidates taking the CAT 2023 exam
– Jewellery containing metal or any other metal item is barred inside the CAT 2023 exam hall
– Shoes and footwear with thick soles will not be allowed
– Garments with large buttons are not allowed
Candidates with a valid CAT 2023 score will be allowed to register for admission to postgraduate (PG) programmes at the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and other participating colleges.
