Bihar Board STET, DElEd 2023-25: BSEB postpone June 18 exam, new date soon

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has deferred the Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd) 2023-25 exam and paper 2 of the Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) set to be held on June 18. The June 18 exam has been deferred in view of Bakrid on June 17.

Bihar board DElEd was first scheduled to be conducted between June 18 and June 25. The BSEB DElED exams from June 19 will be held as per the earlier announced schedule.

“In view of Bakrid on 17.06.2024, the first day examination of D.El.Ed. i.e. the examination to be held on 18.06.2024 has been postponed by the committee in the interest of the candidates. Information regarding the conduct of the examination on the said date will be given later,” an official statement said.

“Paper-II (Class 11-12) conducted on 18.06.2024 under STET 2024 (First) has also been postponed,” it added.

The STET Bihar board exam is conducted for two papers — paper 1 and paper 2. While STET paper 1 is held to recruit secondary school teachers, the STET paper 2 is conducted for the recruitment of senior secondary teachers.
