Bihar Board 12th Result 2025 Highlights: BSEB Class 12 result to be declared on March 25

After the online results, the official marksheets will be distributed by schools, which will be valid for admission.

In the Arts stream, Tushar Kumar topped with an impressive 96.4%. In the Commerce stream, Priya Kumari secured the highest marks with 95.6%.

A total of 13,04,352 students appeared for the intermediate exams in 2024, including 6,26,431 girls and 6,77,921 boys. The exams were held across 1,523 centers in Bihar.

In BSEB Class 12 Results 2024, the overall pass percentage was 87.21% across all streams. The pass percentages for each stream were:

-Science: 87.80%

-Arts: 86.15%

-Commerce: 94.88%

-Vocational: 85.38%

Notably, Girls outperformed boys in all streams, BSEB Chief Anand Kishore had announced during the declaration of results, last year.

Students are given divisions based the marks they obtain:

-First division: 300 marks or more

-Second division: Between 225 and 300 marks

-Third division: Between 150 and 225 marks

This year, a total of 12,92,313 students appeared for the exam at 1,677 centres across Bihar. Among them, 641,847 girls and 650,466 boys had registered for the BSEB Intermediate exam 2025.

In BSEB Inter 2024, a total of 6,34,480 candidates appeared from the Arts stream, including 2,47,908 boys and 3,86,572 girls.

The overall Arts stream pass rate stood at 86.15%, with 1,73,823 students securing first division, 2,84,454 students passing with second division, and 88,344 students earning third division.

Looking at the previous years’ trends, BSEB has consistently declared results within 40 days of the exam. Previous year, in 2024, the Bihar Board exams ended on February 12, and the results announced on March 23, within a span of 40 days.

In 2023, the Bihar Board exams concluded on February 11. Subsequently, the results were declared within 38 days, on March 21. Going by this trend, students can expect the BSEB Class 12 results by the last week of March 2025.
