BSEB Result 2023, Bihar Board 10th Result: The chairman of Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) Anand Kishore and the state Education Minister Chandrashekhar today announced the BSEB Matric (Class 10) exam results at the Patna office.
BSEB Class 10 candidates will be able to download marksheets from the official websites – biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in, results.biharboardonline.com and matricbseb.com.
A total of 16,10,657 students had appeared in the Bihar Board class 10 exams out of which 7,90,737 were boys and 8,19,737 were girls. The overall pass percentage recorded is 81.04 per cent.
Once the results are announced in the press conference, students will be able to check their score at the official BSEB websites — biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in, onlinebseb.in, bsebresult.online, bsebonline.org.
In the past years, BSEB was among those states that declared the inter and matric results in June. However, since 2021 they introduced a slew of measures because of which they release the result in March, before any state or central boards. The Inter result was released last week. Bihar Board also claims that CBSE students are switching to BSEB.
Last year, the Matric students recorded an overall pass percentage of 79.88 per cent. In 2022, a total of 4,24,857 students achieved first division, 5,10,411 students secured second and 3,47,637 got third division. The first rank was secured by Ramayani Roy with 487 marks, and a total of 6,08,868 girls passed the exam.
Meanwhile, BSEB has claimed that in 2022, 1,13,210 students of other boards enrolled in Class 11 of Bihar Board, including 95,204 students from CBSE. The Board claims that every year, more and more students of other boards are enrolling in BSEB. From CBSE, 47,421 students transferred to BSEB in 2018, 69,460 in 2019, 87,086 in 2020, 1,00,438 in 2021 and 95,204 in 2022.
Also, BSEB recently declared the Inter (Class 12) board exam result for arts, commerce and science streams, which recorded an overall pass percentage of 83.70 per cent. Commerce topper, Somya Sharma, secured 95 per cent , Science topper, Ayushi Nandan, earned 94.8 per cent and Arts/ Humanities topper, Mohaddesa, scored 95 per cent.
