KSEAB Karnataka SSLC Exam Begins 2025: The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board, KSEAB from today has started the board examinations Karnataka SSLC Exam 2025 for all the students —regular fresh/ regular repeaters, private fresh and private repeaters. The examination will conclude on April 4. The Karnataka SSLC exam has been started at 10:00 am and will end at 1:15 pm.

The examination begins with the first language papers and will conclude with NSQF subjects. these examinations are held amid a statewide bandh call in protest against the attack on a KSRTC driver in Maharashtra. The examination schedule is as follows:

– The first language, core subjects, and JTS subjects will be conducted from 10:00 am to 1:15 pm. For these subjects, students will have 3 hours to write the exam and 15 minutes to read the question paper.

– The second and third languages will be held from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. For these subjects, students will have 2 hours and 45 minutes to write the exam, along with 15 minutes for reading the question paper.

Additional time will be provided for Differently Abled Children as follows:

– 60 minutes for a 3-hour question paper

– 50 minutes for a 2-hour and 30-minute question paper

– 40 minutes for a 2-hour question paper

– 30 minutes for a 1-hour and 30-minute question paper

As reported in the media, HESCOM officials have been directed to provide an uninterrupted power supply at the exam centres. Around the examination, a 200 m area has been declared as a prohibited area to prevent any untoward incident. The Board has ensured that no photocopy and cyber centres around the exam hall are opened. A vigilance team has been formed by the Board which consists of departmental officers.

Police personnel have been deployed at all centres, with additional security at 35 selected centres, including seven centres with over 600 students. Ten sensitive centres have been given heightened security measures.

For enhanced monitoring, CCTV cameras have been installed in all 227 examination centres, with webcasting arrangements in place for real-time surveillance. Additionally, 21 inspection teams have been set up at the district level, with 17 officers appointed to the district squad. Vigilance teams have also been deployed at the taluk level to oversee the examination process.

To address any technical issues, 22 technical assistants have been assigned at the taluk level to provide timely support.

Karnataka SSLC 2025: Admit cards

The final admit cards for students taking the SSLC Examination-1, scheduled for March/April 2025, were uploaded to the school login section of the board’s website on March 10. School principals downloaded the admit cards and distributed them to the students who were set to take the exam.
