The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) on August 26, postponed the document verification process for Round 1 of the Undergraduate Medical Admission Counselling (UGMAC) 2025. Document verification and admission on the basis of NEET UG will now be held between August 27 and 29, at the respective reporting centres. Candidates are advised to regularly check the Board’s website – bceceboard.bihar.gov.in – for further updates.
In its latest notification, the Board said that a technical issue had been detected in the choice-filling and seat allotment process on Self Finance Seats of BVSc at Bihar Veterinary College (BVC), Patna. Due to this, the allotment results published on August 24 stand cancelled.
As a result, the document verification and admission process for candidates who were allotted seats at BVC, Patna under Self Finance quota, scheduled from August 26, has been deferred. The Board clarified that fresh choices will be invited from such candidates, and new seat allotments will be made in the coming days.
The Board assured that the error was limited to Self Finance Seats at BVC, Patna, and the allotment process for MBBS, BDS, BVSc & AH courses at other government and private colleges remains unaffected.
“Rest of the terms and condition for Round-1 Counselling Document Verification and Admission process published vide advertisement no.-BCECEB(UGMAC)-2025/01 dated 29.07.2025 will remain the same and the candidate who are allotted seat on MBBS / BDS Courses or B.V.Sc. & A.H. Courses except Self Finance Seat will report to the allotted Institute / Reporting Centre as printed on their Round-1 provisional Seat Allotment Order for Document Verification and Admission process,” the board added.
