The Chairman of the Bihar School Examination Board Anand Kishore has released the date sheets for inter and matric for the board exams 2025. The Board today at 1 pm released the date sheet at the official BSEB website — secondary.biharboardonline.com.
Earlier a senior BSEB official told indianexpress.com that the date sheet awaits the final approval. The results will be shared by the Board at the Committee Auditorium, Bihar School Examination Committee Main Building, Sinha Library Road, Patna.
As per the new date sheet, BSEB class 12 exams will be conducted between February 1 to February 15.
The results and the last date for filling online examination application for the Intermediate Compartmental and Special Examination will be published in March or April 2025. Fresh admit cards will be issued to the candidates appearing for compartment exams between April and May.
The Bihar School Examination Board in the press conference also informed that prize money offered to the first five rankers in intermediate and first ten ranks in matriculation will be doubled.
The committee will provide Rs 2 lakh instead of Rs 1 lakh to the student securing first position in the matriculation and intermediate Annual Examination in 2025, Rs 1.5 lakh instead of Rs 75 thousand to the student securing second position and Rs 1 lakh instead of Rs 50 thousand to the student securing third position.
Students who secure fourth to tenth place in the Matriculation Annual Examination 2025 will receive Rs 20,000 instead of Rs 10,000. Additionally, students who achieve fourth and fifth place in the Intermediate Annual Examination 2025 will be awarded Rs 30,000 instead of Rs 15,000. As in previous years, all awarded students from both the Matriculation and Intermediate examinations of 2025 will also receive a laptop, a certificate, and a medal.
The Board also informed that the amount of “Bihar School Examination Board Deshratna Dr Rajendra Prasad Medha Scholarship” given to the topper students will also be increased from the year 2025. Thus, under this, students securing the first 10 ranks in the Annual Secondary Examination 2025 will be given Rs 2 thousand per month instead of Rs 1,200 per month.
While students securing the top 10 ranks in the Annual Secondary Examination 2025 will be given a scholarship of Rs 2 thousand per month in classes 11th and 12th i.e. for 2 years if they are regularly enrolled and studying in an institute recognized by the state government or central government or a scholarship of Rs 2 thousand per month will be payable till the end of the said course if they are regularly studying in a technical diploma course.
