BSEB 10th results 2024: Matric result scrutiny process starts today

This year, as many as 4,52,302 students have obtained first division, while 5,24,965 students have obtained second division, and 3,80,732 students have got third division.

The Bihar School Examination Board Patna (BSEB) on March 31 announced class 10 matric results. However, students who are not satisfied with their results have an opportunity for re-evaluation through a scrutiny process, and BSEB compartment exams are for those students who are placed in the compartment category. 

The BSEB Class 10 scrutiny application link and compartment exam application link will be activated on April 3 and continue till April 9. The BSEB compartment exam results will be announced by May 31. The details of the compartment exam dates will be announced later, BSEB said in an official notice. 

To initiate the scrutiny process, students must apply through the official website — secondary.biharboardonline.com. To apply for the BSEB scrutiny process, students will also have to pay a fee of Rs 120 per paper.

Step 1: Visit the official website of Bihar board – secondary.biharboardonline.com

Step 2: Click on the scrutiny or recheck the link

Step 3: Enter your credentials including roll code, roll number, and registration number

Step 4:  Login using the system-generated application ID and password

Step 5: Choose subjects for scrutiny, or recheck by clicking on the boxes before each subject.

Step 6: Click on the ‘fee payment’ option and pay the scrutiny fee using a credit card, debit card, or net banking.

BSEB class 10 result has an overall pass percentage of 82.91 per cent. There has been an increase of 1.87 percent from last year’s overall pass percentage, which was 81.04 per cent. A student must secure 30 per cent marks to pass the class 10 exam.
