If a candidate’s marks are reduced after the re-checking of answer scripts, the reduced marks will be considered final, and the certificate-cum-marksheet will be prepared accordingly.

An eligible candidate under compartment, betterment or repeat category will be able to appear in the regular examination in the year immediately following the year in which the candidate passed/ repeat/ compartmental as mentioned in the mark-sheet. For the Assam board Class 12 HS compartmental and betterment exam, candidate shall be given only one chance to appear in the next examination.
After declaration of results, those candidates whose Assam board Class 12 HS 2025 results have been shown withheld have to contact the Controller of Examinations to get the results declared. However, the candidates concerned will apply formally through the Head of the Institution. The withheld result will not be declared if the candidate does not apply within 30 days from the day of declaration of result.
