Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma When Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal blamed Haryana for the unprecedented floods in the national capital, Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma was among the BJP leaders who reacted. “Every year, we receive water from Bhutan, Arunachal, and even from China. We face floods with brave hearts. We experience pain and misery beyond human imagination, yet we do not blame others. Because we know that nature does not recognise geography,” Sarma had said. Sarma, who had a spat with AAP leaders during the pandemic over a number of issues concerning Delhi, said Kejriwal has not yet invited him to his house. “I have been waiting, but no such invitation has come,” Sarma said.
