Woman held with brown sugar

A 32-year-old woman was arrested by the anti-narcotics cell of Pune police while selling brown sugar worth Rs 82,000 in Nigdi. Acting on a tip-off from the informants,the team arrested Reena Baba Randive,a resident of Kaneh Phata in Maval,on Thursday when she had come to Nigdi octroi booth. Police said 82 grams of brown sugar was seized from her. The case has now been handed over to Nigdi police.
