The High Collective,in association with Pyrogami,presents a poi and hullahoop workshop hosted by Chinmaya Rao and Christabel Menezes,today,from 6 pm to 9 pm. Rao is a a freelance poi spinner and is now working with a fire arts troupe called Pyrogami in Mumbai. He has been learning poi for the last five years and doing professional shows for two years. Menezes is a hullahoop spinner from Abu Dhabi and will be a part of the workshop alongside Rao. No need to have experience in dance. Poi sets are available upon registering at the High Spirits Cafe for Rs. 1,000.

Beyond Shopping

Who said its all about shopping at malls? Starting Friday,the weekend is going to see a series of events at Inorbit Mall,with stand-up acts,band performances and drum circles. While Saturday will have a drum circle by Agneya Chikte and crew,Sunday will feature a performance by stand-up comedian Karan Talwar,as well as a live performance by the band Teemeer and The Cirkle. The free-entry event will begin at 6.30 pm on each day.
