Small Wonder

Fourteen-year-old actor Darsheel Safary was part of the team that visited the city to promote the film Zokkomon at Inorbit Mall on April 10. Disney’s third Bollywood outing is due to hit the screens on April 22,and is the story of “an ordinary boy who finds the strength to face extraordinary challenges.” Director Satyajit Bhatkal,shared,”We wanted to make a film that would connect to the Indian audience.” Actor Manjari Phadnis revealed that the making of the movie was a lot of fun for her and that “this small wonder (Safary) is an excellent actor.” The music for the movie,that also stars child actor Gargi Datar,has been composed by Shankar- Ehsaan-Loy,while the song lyrics are by Javed Akhtar. “I was very interested to do this film as becoming a superhero has always been my dream,” said Safary. His future plan is to become a director and make films that would appeal to all generations.
