DJ Amaze recently won the Soul Clip DJ competition,so be prepared for the grooviest of tunes from the duo,9 pm onwards.

If acting is your passion,and theatre your interest,then head to Saroj Apartments,Sahaney Sujan Park,Lulla Nagar on July 4 for the auditions being conducted by theatre group Expressions. The group will be staging an English play based on Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap in August and September,and is looking for actors,young and old. So,if you have what it takes to be in the spotlight,then give this a try!
Model management
Model Kirti Kulhari,was in the city on Wednesday to inaugurate the seven-day orientation programme for the management course at ISB and M. She shared her experiences with students and also stressed on the importance of hard work,sincerity and determination,as it is with these three qualities that she is treading the glamour path. Kirti posed as the glam doll beside Abhijeet Sawant in his album Junoon,and has also acted in Vijay Tendulkar’s play Sakharam Binder. I played the character of a village girl Champa. It was a difficult role as Champa had a very carefree attitude and even used abusive language. It was tough for me to reach that level but I managed it well, she reveals. She’s happy with the direction that her career is taking. I’ve recently done an ad with Saif Ali Khan,and though models usually get side-stepped while starring alongside known celebrities,I got equal weightage, she smiles.
