The holy tale

The Shri Maharajadhiraj Agrasen Bhavan Trust is celebrating its golden jubilee with ‘Shrimad Bhagwat Katha’. The programme will be held between November 30 and December 7 at Kataria High School,Mukund Nagar. The narration will be conducted by Shri Mudrul Krishna Shastri. During the week-long anusthan,the narration will deliver tales of 24 incarnations of Lord Vishnu. The programme will start with a ‘Shobha Yatra’,wherein 500 women will participate,followed by ‘Kalash Sthapana’. The entire course is absolutely free of cost and devotees from other cities will be provided with free lodging and food. The programme will be held between 3 and 7 pm on all the days.

What a win!

Horlicks Wizkids 2010 by Krayon announced the winners of the South Asia finals which also saw participation from students from Pakistan,Sri Lanka,and Nepal. The grand finale was held on November 25 in Bengaluru and the theme was ‘I Want It All’. The four students chosen from 60 finalists to form the Horlicks Wiz Team 2010 are Vikhe Patil from Memorial School,Pune,Vibha Mohan of Bengaluru,Siddhanth Dubey of Bhopal and Nicole Muiier of Sri Lanka. These winners will visit New Zealand for an international student exchange programme.

How often do you pamper yourself with exotic cosmetics? On Friday,Amway India gave Puneites the chance to indulge in their range of products with their workshop ‘Spa Cafe’. The workshop was aimed at promoting skin care and grooming. It began with meditation and breathing exercises,after which participants were briefed about the wide range of cosmetics. Later,they were even given the chance to experience the products. The main objective of the workshop was to help people understand their skin better and keep it healthy.
