A Tarot Reading Workshop has been organised on May 23 and 24 between 10 am to 6 pm at Aperture India,first floor,Millennium Plaza,opposite Fergusson College. The workshop will cover various aspects such as- understanding and mastering the art of Tarot reading,history of Tarot reading,understanding and interpreting spreads,counseling and guiding the seeker,practical hands on training so that one can start their own consultation and classes,interactive question and answers session and so on. Says speaker Meena Shah,Tarot reading is an art of intuition,interpretation and communication. It is the most accurate for short-term predictions relating to love,career,relationships,money and health. Tarot reading is not only about showing the problem but also about counseling and guiding to a solution. Tarot cards cannot spell out the solutions for you but it can show you the direction. In her lecture Shah will give recommendations for those practicing tarot reading as well as those seeking answers.
Harmonically yours
For harmonica enthusiasts,who are members of the Royal Harmonica Club (RHC) it was time for celebration recently,as the club celebrated its first anniversary at the Deccan Gymkhana Hall. The event saw the likes of known musicians like Enoch Daniels,Manohari Singh,Kishore Sodha,Madan Kumar and Suraj Sathe perform and answer question of the enthusiastic crowd present for the occasion. Speaking on the occasion,Nandu Belwadkar,president,RHC,says,The club was established in order to bring all harmonica under one roof. Keeping this in mind,during the course of the last one year,we have organised six stage programmes,have had a world famous harmonicist Jia-Yi He perform a virtuoso concert in Pune and have also been featured on the list of the Asia Pacific Harmonica Festival as a harmonica playing community and will be featured at the festival in 2010.
Musical nights
Recently launched Sayaji Hotel at Wakad had organised a rooftop party for niche audiences of the city,accompanied by live performances by renowned percussionist Rajeev Mahaveer and saxophonist Raj Singh Sodhi. For the performances that went on for two out of three days,the artistes accompanied by Chintoo Singh on the rabab and guitar presented fusion tracks on instrumental. Speaking on the occasion,Rajeev Mahavir,a disciple of legendary tabla player ustad Alla Rakha said,Pune audience is known for its matured appreciation. I was a wonderful experience performing in front of them all and we are looking forward to presenting our art once again in the city.
