As a part of their programme- My city my history,FOX History and Entertainment in association with programme partner,INTACH (Indian National Trust for Art & Cultural Heritage) had organised a heritage walk with school children across the city. The walk covered Pune’s unknown historical landmarks like Shaniwarwada,Kasba Ganpati Mandir,Tambat Ali,Yadnyavalkya path and so on. This programme encourages school children to highlight the lesser known historical treasures in their respective cities and in the process learn a lot more about their heritage. Students can either participate through their school or by logging on to http://www.foxhistory.com/mycity . Entries can be submitted in Hindi or English,which includes a mandatory written submission (not more than 750 words) with an option of supporting material in any format including photographs,videos,PowerPoint and so on. Students have an option of submitting multiple entries. The last date to submit entries is December 31.
All that glitters
Shashii Jewels has organised a jewelry exhibition at C-3/5,Salunke Vihar Society,Wanowrie. A new collection of jewellery in kundan,polki,American diamonds and Victorian style with precious stones- the exhibition that began on December 24 will continue till Saturday. All pieces are set in silver with and without gold plating. The exhibition is on between 11 am to 8 pm.
