Sanjeev Kumar new ZP CEO

Sanjeev Kumar,former CEO of the Hingoli Zilla Parishad is all set to take over as the new CEO of Pune Zilla Parishad. Kumar,who hails from Jammu&Kashmir,belongs to the 2003 cadre of the IAS. The present CEO Shyam Vardhane has been been transferred as collector of Sangli within one year of assuming office as ZP CEO.

The state government announced this change of guard recently. During his one-year stint at the Pune ZP,Vardhane was instrumental in several developmental projects in the district. These include online transfers of schoolteachers and principals,sanitation projects in villages under the Nirmal Gram Yojana,programmes for teachers,special training sessions for girls and various health-related initiatives under the National Rural Health Mission. The ZP also received ISO certification during his tenure.
