Sadashiv Peth murder case also unsolved

Police have not been able make any arrest in the Asha Narayan Lagad murder case that took place in Sadashiv Peth on June 3 this year.

The 75-year-old woman was murdered at her residence in a four-storey building in the crowded Phadtare Chowk area on Kumthekar Road in Sadashiv Peth. Police investigation revealed that her residence had also been burgled. The perpetrators had stolen gold ornaments and cash worth Rs 2.8 lakh.

Her grandson,Nilesh,a resident of Girija Shankar apartment in Sadashiv Peth,lodged a murder complaint at Vishrambag police station. Police reviewed a CCTV video footage installed at shops around the building. Although the police claim to have some clues,no arrest has been made so far.
