Rs 8.08 lakh stolen from AXIS bank ATM

Unidentified persons stole Rs 8.08 lakh from an AXIS bank ATM at Shivshakti chowk,Phursungi,with a gas cutter early on Friday. Police said there was no security guard at the ATM when the incident took place. Balasaheb Kamble (27),who works for the agency that manages operations of this AXIS bank ATM,registered a case with the Hadapsar police. Police said the incident took place around 4 am. “CCTV footage shows the suspects aged between 20 and 25 years and having covered their faces with a cloth,” sub inspector D R Madne said.
