Registrations open for Pinkathon

The Pune edition of Pinkathon,India’s first 10-km run for women,will be held on November 17. Online registrations for the Pune leg of the event started Thursday. Interested people can register at http://www.pinkathon.in and also by visiting Pinkathon’s Facebook page. All proceeds from the event will be donated to Women’s Cancer Initiative,which works for the cause of prevention and cure of breast cancer in collaboration with Tata Memorial Hospital.

Pande,Zope star for Maharashtra

The Maharashtra under-19 team recorded its second victory in the west zone qualification group for the Vinoo Mankad under-19 trophy. Maharashtra won by 57 runs against Mumbai at Rajkot.
