A cheque of Rs 25,000 to be handed over to collector next week.

In a heart-warming gesture, over 150 artistes of Rambo Circus have decided to donate a day’s salary for drought relief. This was announced by circus co-partner Sujit Dilip at a press conference held in the city on Friday.

“As our artistes are from rural areas, they understand the ravages and hardships of drought. The ongoing drought in the state is assuming alarming proportions, which has disturbed all of us. After discussing the situation amongst ourselves,we decided to hand over day’s salary to the collector of Pune for drought relief,” said Dilip.
