Parshuramians hold BEG in close encounter

Parshuramians drew 1-1 with Bombay Engineering Group (BEG) in their Super league match in the Super division Pune football tournament organised by the Pune District Football Association (PDFA). The tournament is being played at the PDFA ground at Dobarwadi in Hadapsar.

In the first match,Parshuram Salwadi of BEG scored a goal in the 54th minute off a pass from Paramjeet Singh. Sanal Chaudhari restored parity for Parshuramians as he scored off a precise Sandeep Hanavate pass in the 73rd minute. Both sides had a couple of good chances in the last quarter but their respective strikers were not sharp enough to convert the opportunities.

In the last two matches of the day,DSK Shivajians A and PFC A refuses to play due to bad ground conditions. As a result,both games were forfeited and full points were awarded to VOBA and Deccan XI A.
