Orthopilot machine at Nigdi hospital

Lokmanya Hospital,Nigdi announced the launch of Pune region’s first Orthopilot machine,an advanced technology for navigation. The machine was launched by Chief Guest Dr Franz Maurer from Germany,a renowned orthopedic knee replacement surgeon and a navigation specialist. Orthopilot is a navigation system that helps eliminate human errors in the surgery and is nearly 100 per cent accurate in fixing artificial implants. “Orthopilot is one of the proudest assets that Lokmanya Hospitals has and I invite all patients to take benefit of this technology,” said Dr Narendra Vaidya. Said Maurer,”The new technology of Orthopilot has totally eliminated the mal-alignment and has made joint replacement surgery nearly 100 per cent accurate.”
