NCP faction seeks action against two corporators
Says no one should doubt Chavans efficiency

A day after two NCP corporators demanded ouster of city party chief Vandana Chavan,another party faction came out in support of Chavan and sought disciplinary action against the two corporators and a former office-bearer for going public on party affairs.
In a letter to Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar,Chavan supporters said that no one should doubt the efficiency of the existing city unit chief as she has proved herself by bringing the party to power in the Pune Municipal Corporation.
The party leadership has recognised the qualities of Chavan and even made her Rajya Sabha MP,they said adding those putting the blame of failure in bypoll didnt turn up for the campaign of the party candidate. We are also aware of the people behind these corportors who are demanding the resignation of Chavan, they said.
Earlier also these corporators protested against city NCP chief but later had to apolgise to her,they said adding the party will not tolerate the efforts of maligning the image of Chavan.
