Meet on operational excellence begins

‘Indizen-2010’,a two-day national convention on Operational Excellence jointly organised by the Mahratta Chamber of Commerce,Industries & Agriculture and Kaizen Institute,started on Tuesday.

‘Indizen-2010’,a two-day national convention on Operational Excellence jointly organised by the Mahratta Chamber of Commerce,Industries & Agriculture (MCCIA) and Kaizen Institute,started on Tuesday.

Over 200 delegates across India and around 20 delegates from the Middle East and Africa are participating said a press note. During the convention,six companies including a State Government Department are being conferred the ‘Operational Excellence Award and Citation,’ added the note. In his keynote address,founder of Kaizen Institute Sensei Masaaki Imai said operational excellence is a philosophy of leadership,teamwork and problem solving. “I am glad to be in India on this occasion coinciding with Kaizen Institute India ’s 10 th anniversary,” he said.

Commenting on the operational excellence award,he said their efforts needs to be showcased and shared.
