Impresario Entertainment and Hospitality Private Limited (IEHPL) will showcase world renowned DJ cum producer John Fleming at Stone Water Grill,on February 28. The first Sunday Sunsets: Limited Edition of Stone Water Grill will also take place on the same day. John 00 Fleming aka Joof is one of the most in-demand and well respected DJs in dance music and has sold over 10 million records,with singles on over 100 mix compilations. He has preserved underground respect whilst enjoying commercial success during a career spanning two decades and still going strong.

Bengal platter
Oh! Calcutta,has started the Bhapa Festival bringing to food lovers,one of the best-loved culinary traditions of Bengal. An amalgamation of mystery and magic,Bhapa Festival comprises of not only fish but vegetarian as well meat cuisine. The festival is on till March 7 at Oh! Calcutta,City Point,Dhole Patil Road.

One-month long Chaat festival- Chaat-O-Fy started at the Sheetal Arch from February 27. “With 25 varieties of chaats such as pani puri,sev puri and bhel puri and so on,there lies a plethora of chaats that people are yet to taste,hence we step in and give them a package which entitles them to taste each and every one of them at a reasonable rate,” says,Joravar Sachdev,director operations of White Summer Hospitality,which owns Sheetal Arch located on East Street.

The festivities kicked off on February 26 with the unveiling of a special 10th anniversary logo at all Barista Lavazza stores in India with a host of surprises,from exciting contests and prizes,to offers and promotions. The party continues online with a whole bunch of fun activities and contests. The interior ambience is definitely a stark reminder of the kabab joints of the old world,and yet the place is tinged with an air of modernity as one settles down to eat at The Great Kabab Factory (TGKF).

Started off in the city as one of the flagship restaurants at the Radisson Hotel the restaurant specialises in kababs as the name suggests and aims to make the dining experience a more interactive one for the customer. The restaurant,which boasts of a vegetarian as well as a non-vegetarian kebab platter,also has an array of vegetables and non-vegetarian dishes up for grabs.

Speaking more about the same,Gautam Chaudhry,Executive Chef,says,“The main idea behind TGKF,was to provide an insight to the customer about the wide variety of kababs that are available across the length and breath of the country. The kababs here as a result are not overcooked in heavy spices but retain their flavours and tastes so that the customer can actually savour the dish.”

Along with a collection of kababs that are available in the starter menu,the main course has biryanis,an assortment of dals,and the vegetable of the day,on offer. All the dishes along with an assortment of four desserts,change on a daily basis.

Priced at Rs 799 per person excluding taxes,one can feast on delicacies like the veg and non-veg Galouti Kabab,which is the brand signature kabab at TGKF,or kababs like Murgh Tikka Hari Mirch Kabab,the Lagan Ki Boti,or the traditional Seekh Kabab. Vegetarians can try their hand at the Tandoori Khumb,Paneer Tikka Ajwiani,and the Chatpate Aloo kababs. The biryanis here keep altering between the Mutton and the Chicken Biryani everyday,and the Veg Biryani for the vegetarians.

The desserts that are available include dishes like the Tilleywali Kulfi,Moong Dal Halwa,the Kala Jamun and the Rajbhog. All the dishes are accompanied by unlimited salad,an assortment of breads and a glass of Chaas.
