The All India Strawberry Producers Association has launched a strawberry festival that has kick started on February 18 at the Acharya Atre auditorium. The four-day festival that will have various dishes that utilise the fruit was inaugurated by mayor Mohan Singh Rajpal.
Hot and spicy
Dig into some mouthwatering delicacies such as Dilliwala Tandoori Kookad,Patayala Chilly Chicken,Tandoor Wale Macchi,Koliwada Tala Jhinga,Seekh Kebab,Paneer De Tikke,Tadkeywala Tamatar Shorba etc at the Flavours of Punjab festival at Gaia restaurant. Combined with authentic ambience the main course menu boasts of Mandiwali Tarkari,Samundra Ke Shaan or Udta Kookad selections. All this with some savoury Langaar Wale Dal,Tadkeywali Rajma or Pakodeyanwali Kadhi and Hot Parathas (Aloo / Gobhi / Methi / Moolie / Cheese) and Rotis. End the meal with some Rice,Biryani and Punjabi Style Lassi or for dessert,Indias own jalebis,malpuas,rabri or phirni.
Packaging munchies
Mocha announces celebration on Sundays with their Sunday brunch and a flea market to begin from tomorrow. The celebration goes much beyond food — apart from special combo meals from the Mocha menu priced at Rs 199,Rs 249 and Rs 279,the event offers tarot corner,home made chocolates,handmade gift bags and candles,junk jewellery,funky and zany t-shirts all under one roof. Portrait and caricature sketchers too will be there to add a lot of fun and henna tattoos and paintings.
Chinese Musings
As a part of their ongoing celebrations of the Chinese New Year the Radisson Hotel is hosting a Chinese New Year Festival. The festival that began from February 12 and will go on till February 26 will feature a variety of dumplings and dim sums on the buffet menu. Priced at Rs 599 excluding taxes the buffet will also include a pint of beer and Jasmine tea.

Celebrating the Chinese New Year,the Mainland China restaurants are hosting a food festival that has a lot on offer from the Chinese kitchen. The festival is on from February 12 to 22. With starters like Pan Grilled Zucchini with Pickled Chillies and Wok Tossed Aniseed Flavored Fish the dining experience will turn into an aromatic journey. Soups Wintermelon and Chicken Velvet Soup or Sour and Peppery Tofu and Pakchoy Clear Soup along with starters Quick Tossed Haricot Beans with Chillies and Sesame are on offer along with main course,dishes like Exotic Winter Vegetables in Smoked Pepper Sauce and Wok Tossed Jumbo Prawns with Ginger and Scallions. A wide range of sumptuous rice and noodle dishes include the subtle Steamed Jasmine Rice,Whole Wheat Noodles with Shitake Mushroom and Leeks. The dessert menu includes Fruit Sushi with Ginger Vanilla Ice Cream and Cinnamon Ice Cream.

The La Brasserie restaurant at Hotel Le Meridien is hosting the Hawaii food festival from February 15 to 23 with exotic dishes and fruits from Hawaii. While the drink menu includes tropical favorites like Mai Tai,Pina Colada and Blue Hawaii,the food menu boasts of dishes like Char Siu,Chikken Adobo,Huli-huli Chiken and much more.
