The Courtyard by Marriott Pune,Hinjewadi,is all geared up to open the gates of Alfresco,an open air grill restaurant and lounge. With dimmed yellow interiors,it allows ardent food lovers to indulge in sizzlers,succulent barbeques and mouth-watering grills cooked to perfection. The setting scores points with the candle lit lamps and remixed lounge music filling the air. One can unwind here over hookahs and charcoal aromas while enjoying the perfect array of cocktails and silken desserts.

A Foodie’s Factory

The Great Kabab Factory at Radisson Hotel,Kharadi,is offering mouth-watering kababs prepared in seven different styles – roasted on the tandoor or on a sighri,shallow-fried in a tawa or a mahi tawa,deep-fried in a kadhai,steamed in pots,even grilled on a stone. A different menu is set for each day and the unlimited servings include signature kababs such as the Galauti and the Burrah,as well as the dal factory,biryani,a selection of Indian breads and seasonal vegetables and five different types of desserts. The restaurant has a recipe bank of over 450 kababs. Vegetarians can especially look forward to tandoori broccoli and subz galouti prepared by the master chefs. Among the desserts,the paan kulfi is a must try.

A King’s Meal

Feast on royal cuisine at Barbeque Nation with the Shahi Dastarkhwan,an exotic royal food festival on till November 6. It features dishes like Dum ka Murgh,Mahi Surkh Khorma,Dahi Ke Sholey and Dhingri-Khaas,Bikaneri Rasgulle ka Sabzee for main course and starters. The special beverage menu,Gustaaki Maaf,includes an interesting mix of tequila,white rum and grape juice served as a shot as well as Masala Buttermilk. The dance performance accompanied with the royal dinner should not be missed.

A Weekly Affair

Aromas Cafe,located on FC Road will be starting a new concept – ‘Wow Weekdays’,wherein customers can avail interesting offers on weekdays. From a 50 per cent discount on pizzas and cold blends on Monday,a two-course meal on Tuesday for just Rs 250,a 50 per cent discount on meals on Wednesdays to an offer on alcoholic beverages on Thursday,the cafe promises to indulge foodies.

Sunday savouries

The recently launched ‘Absolutely Sunday’ brunch buffets at The Eatery – Four Points by Sheraton,Nagar Road,has some interesting international and Indian delicacies as part of its spread. There are exotic waffles and pancakes,biryanis,succulent kebabs,steaming dimsums,pastas and pizzas along with delicious drinks and desserts. There’s also live music to pep up the Sunday afternoon. Head here between noon and 3.30 pm to dig into the delicious treats.

Mystic Masala,the Indian restaurant at Vivanta by Taj- Blue Diamond Pune,has introduced its delectable new menu of hand-picked home-style preparations from across Central and Western Maharashtra. The menu features an array of Maharashtrian delicacies from Vidarbha,Kolhapur,Sawantwadi,Satara,Konkani,Malwan,Wai,Nagpur,Sangli,Pune and Karjat. Among the local specialities are Kothimbirchi Wadi,a tasty coriander patty from Konkan,Kombdicha Gawaran Rassa,home-style country chicken curry originally from Satara,Papletchi Amti,a tangy pomfret curry from Malwan,Kolhapuri Rassa,a spicy mutton dish served with rice,Nagpuri Batata Bhat,a tasty rice preparation,and Jawarchi Bhakri,a bread made from jowar flour.
