Maha-Entrepreneur Award announced

With the aim of acknowledging the efforts and work of entrepreneurs across the state,Praj Industries,in association with Symbiosis Institute of Business Management,announced the winners of the Maha-Entrepreneur Award for this year.

With the aim of acknowledging the efforts and work of entrepreneurs across the state,Praj Industries,in association with Symbiosis Institute of Business Management,announced the winners of the Maha-Entrepreneur Award for this year. As many as six people in two different categories will be awarded up to Rs 1 lakh or fellowships to attend executive development programmes from any reputed institute in India.

Pramod Chaudhari,chairman,Praj Industries,along with CEO and MD of Praj,Gajanan Nabar and Dr Vivek Sane,Director,SIBM,made the announcement today. Speaking about the award ceremony,Pramod Chaudhari said,”In our country,there are lots of platforms where the work of entrepreneurs is acknowledged. However,there is need to appreciate the efforts of the people who have worked shoulder to shoulder with the entrepreneurs. This award is an aim at encouraging such people.”

Awards will be given in two categories. One in industry and business and the other one in NGOs,semi government,society and trusts. This year will be the third edition of the awards and will also see a special woman’s category. “We got applications from across the state,including places like Baramati,Ahmednagar,Nashik,Aurangabad,Jalgaon,Thane,Kolhapur and Nagpur apart from Pune and Mumbai. We have also shortlisted two entrepreneurs.”
