Lt. Gen. Y.D. Sahasrabuddhe,patron and former chairman of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan,Pune chapter passed away recently after brief illness.

Lt. Gen. Y.D. Sahasrabuddhe,patron and former chairman of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan,Pune chapter passed away recently after brief illness. He was 84 and survived by wife,two sons and grandchildren.

While in defence services,Gen. Sahasrabddhe actively participated in 1965 and 1971 wars. He was honoured with Param Vishishta Seva Medal (PVSM) by the Government of India,for his outstanding contribution in the Armed Forces of the country.
