This educational foundation always believes that a child should become thoughtful and successful with a command in academics and social awareness. The Rosary Education Group, founded in 1958,functions along the lines of an ever-evolving educational system that focuses on holistic moulding of the students. The Rosary Education Group has academic programmes that are technologically balanced, well researched and are powered by state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities. “We completely focus on all round development of the students and not only academics,” says Usha Pereira, principal,Rosary School,Camp.

Founded by A G Aranha and his wife W Aranha,Rosary has nine schools and three junior Colleges. The one in Camp is the oldest school of nine branches the foundation has. “Our school has around 150 teachers who are well trained to deal with 3,000 odd students and every student is taken care under proper guidance. Whenever the school has new incumbents they are first assessed and then trained to the right level,” Pereira adds. The school has a dedicated human resource team that takes the mission forward.

While the Rosary Schools have an impressive education record, they are also very much involved in extra-curriculum activities. The students besides participating in karate, paintings, music, handicraft and so on are encouraged to take up science, yoga training, sport competitions and classical dance.

Recording100 per cent results for the last 35 years, the schools also offers regional as well as foreign languages. “Looking at the growing demand for foreign languages,we teach different languages too. German is the latest option which is being offered,” Pereira says.

Talking on Right to Education (RTE),she says,”I firmly believe that education is every child’s right. Children are the future of India and only education can provide them with the right direction.” Moreover,Rosary schools conduct educational trips to many places within and outside the city.

One of the teachers at the Viman Nagar branch,Savipri Shetty, who teaches science, says that they not only concentrate on quality education, but are also equipped with projectors and computers in every class, teaching students on power point presentation. “Today education is more than just about books. The students need to be well-versed with the latest method of study,” Shetty adds. The infrastructure of the schools is specially taken care by the administration. “We have the provision for education counseling and aptitude testing ,helping students with academic challenges along with attitude building,” says Balan, administrator Rosary School,Camp. Career guidance workshop for Junior Colleges is another programme that provides a strong foundation to its students. “We endeavor not just for results but also for the empowerment of our students and the quest to keep building schools known for academic excellence shall never end,” Balan adds.
