Fire brigade on Wednesday rescued a mentally unstable patient who was trying to escape from Sassoon hospital by climbing down the pipe from the third floor. The patient,Rama Pawar,is a resident of Mulshi. He was admitted after he attempted suicide.

A 22-year-old girl,Pooja Manohar Kate,allegedly committed suicide at her home in Hanuman colony in Kasarwadi on Wednesday afternoon. However,no suicide note was found near the body,the police said.
