ICSE results declared,Aishwarya tops city with 98 per cent

The results of Class X and XII exams conducted by the Indian Council for Secondary Education were declared on Tuesday.

The results of Class X and XII exams conducted by the Indian Council for Secondary Education (ICSE) were declared on Tuesday. Most schools in the city secured a pass percentage of above 90. Six schools— St Mary’s School,The Bishop’s School,St. Helena’s School,Hutchings High School,Riverdale International Residential School and Vidya Valley School— recorded 100 per cent results. Aishwarya Bafna,student of St Mary’s School,topped the city with 98 per cent.

“I was not expecting this. My preparation was pretty good. I spent some anxious moments in the last five days. It is a great feeling,” Bafna said.

A total of 186 girls and 47 boys from St Mary’s took the exam with 140 girls and 33 boys scoring above 90 per cent. Ananya Mondal scored 97.4 per cent. Among the boys,Garen Pereira scored 97.4 per cent.

At Bishop’s School,Camp,Dhruv Chaudhari,Sagnik Mukherjee and Yash Gupta scored 97,96.4 and 96 per cent respectively. A total of 279 Class X students appeared for the exam with 181 students from the Kalyaninagar branch. Venkat Bollapragada,Abhishek Sureshan and Sanhita Damdhere scored 96.8,96.6,and 96.2 per cent respectively. Somdeep Dey,with 96.25 per cent,topped Class XII.

A total of 205 students from St Helena’s School took the exam with 164 students scoring a distinction and 41 getting a first class. Reshul Dani,Sakhi Bhusane and Nikita Mehta scored 96.5,95.6 and 94.6 per cent marks respectively.

Ankita Chauhan and Sachit Ajman,from Spicer School,scored 95 and 93 per cent respectively. A total of 95 students appeared for the exam. Kumari Neesu Binod was the ISC Science topper with 90 per cent and Vartika Chaturvedi topped commerce section with 81 per cent.

Of the 56 RiverDale International Residential School students who appeared for Class 10,Shivani Movaliya (91.2) was the topper followed by Rishabh Moorjani (89.6). The third spot was secured by Utsav Sejpal with 89.4 per cent. Of the 15 Class XII students who took the exam,Daniella Sohkhlet emerged as the tppper with 89.5 per cent. At Hume McHenry School Tara Sheikh ( 91 per cent) was the topper followed by Ashna Sharma(88 %). They were followed by Aditi Pandey with 87% marks. While Mansi Wadekar from Vidya Valley School topped the exam with 93 per cent,Rushal Handa from Hutchings School was the topper with 96 per cent. Handa was followed by Rohit Murti and Sanjana Shinde who scored 95.8 and 95.6 per cent respectively.
