Risking the danger of sounding clichéd,Khan says that film is for audience and not for critics or awards and hence has got something for all age group. “It is not a slapstick comedy. It aims at being a complete entertainer. While for my female viewers I have bare-bodied Arjun Rampal making five different entries in his most dashing avatars,for the dudes I have bikini clad Deepika Padukone and Lara Dutta to set the screen on fire and for my young audience too I have much to offer like a tiger sequence. It’s a rom-com and ensures complete entertainment.”

When asked about his career so far and his decision to take up the film,Arjun Rampal,the undisputed attraction of the film,says,“While Rock On projected me as a common man,Om Shanti Om made me look larger than life,however,I was accepted well in both the films. So the role of a serious,obsessive,possessive person appealed to me. I think the character is strong yet entertaining. Even in my forthcoming films,Don 2 and Rajneeti I am entertaining irrespective of the background or intensity of my character.”

Ritesh Deshmukh’s coined a new term to explain his character in the film. “This time I am doing Sajid Khan humour. I have been doing comedy so far but all were with a difference and so is this. I cannot call it a slapstick comedy so it is safe to call it Sajid Khan humour.”

Supporting Deshmukh,Khan says that from common jokes to PG Wodehouse,the film has all kind of comedy for different kind of people. “Comedy is one emotion that is divided. A crowd may find something tragic,but not all the people in that crowd will find a particular incident as comic. Everybody has their own definition of comedy,hence I have taken care to please them all,” he adds.

When asked about the relevance of the title of the film,Khan explains,“First reason is that in the film there is a house,which is full of people all the time leading to the title. Secondly,I have tried to get many characters in one frame using it to its fullest extent. And thirdly,I want to see ‘houseful’ board at the box office when the movie is released.”

Khan denied of anything spoof against the veteran actor Manoj Kumar in the film. Khan also says that he loves giving teasers and that the story given on Internet is completely wrong.

When asked,why comedies are more spoofs and not realistic,he says,“Rang De Basanti claimed it will change life,did it change? Munnabhai MBBS claimed that people will not litter anymore and will be responsible for their surroundings,did that happen? The answer lies in the question itself. We do not make movies to cure cancer or to change somebody’s life,but to entertain. Cinema is for entertainment and I am trying to tick to that role.”
