HEMRL marks Hindi Day

Hindi Day was celebrated at the High Energy Material Research Laboratory on Tuesday.

Hindi Day was celebrated at the High Energy Material Research Laboratory (HEMRL) on Tuesday. Dr Arun Pujari was the chief guest of the function. Speaking on the occasion Pujari said,“Hindi is the epitome of national pride. Promoting the language will play an important role in ensuring the unity of the nation. The HEMRL has always been instrumental in promoting Hindi.”

A Shubhanand Rao,director,HEMRL in his presidential speech said,“More and more scientists should come forward and write their technical papers in Hindi. This will not only help promote the language but also ensure that the papers reach maximum number of people,thus adding to the popularity of the laboratory. I make a special appeal to use easy-to- understand Hindi.”

D K Kankane,scientist G said,“Every official of the laboratory will have to come ahead and ensure that the usage of Hindi is increased in all kinds of functions.”

Raj Bahadur,officer for Hindi also gave an overview of the progress made in regards with Hindi language over the past year.” A special 25 th issue of Navchetna magazine was unveiled by the chief guest on the occasion.
