On Saturday,the NDA Ball was held as a run-up to the Passing Out Parade of the cadets of the 120th course. As darkness descended on the sprawling NDA campus,the glittering lawns of the cadets’ mess came alive with foot-tapping music. As is tradition,Lt Gen Jatinder Singh,AVSM,SM Commandant NDA,set the ball rolling. The gallant young men then chose their pretty partners and danced to the tunes played by Blue Mist Band and DJ Spinmaster Kaz. The main attraction of the ball was the Mr NDA and Ms NDA Queen pageant. There were exciting performances by Aliens Dance Academy during the three-hour long event which culminated with the crowning of Mr and Miss NDA. The winners took home a number of attractive prizes. Cadet Sergeant Major Ashutosh Pandey was crowned Mr NDA ,while Tripti Rai was crowned Miss NDA Queen and given prizes by Harjit Kaur,the First lady of the NDA. The first runners-up were Cdt Ankur Pal and Tanvi Chandawarkar,while the second runners-up were Cdt Sanket Kumar and Neelam Loher. The event was compered by MC Pankhuri and Cdt Kanva Arwari.
