G20 interfaith summit in city from Sept 5-7
The summit is expected to bring together over 2,000 religious leaders, faith-based organisations, policy makers, government officials, representatives of international organisations, academics and youth.

Pune is set to host the G20 Interfaith Summit at the World Peace Dome in Loni Kalbhorfrom September 5 to 7.
Organised by the World Peace Centre, Alandi, the G20 Interfaith Forum and the Interfaith Alliance for Safer Communities, the summit will organise lectures on peace and humanitarian action.
Peace-building action, food security, climate change, protection of religious and cultural heritage, and assets, ethics and risks of artificial intelligence for communities will be among the several topics of discussions over September 6 and 7.
The summit is expected to bring together over 2,000 religious leaders, faith-based organisations, policy makers, government officials, representatives of international organisations, academics and youth.
“The G20 Interfaith Summit is aligned with our core belief that the union of science and spirituality is the only way to achieve peace for humankind,” said Rahul Karad, managing trustee and executive president of MIT-World Peace University.
