Four suicide cases in a day

As many as four cases of suicide were reported in the city on Sunday. Three of the deceased are women and one is a nineteen-year-old man.

Jyoti Nagesh Dhamale (28) allegedly committed suicide around 4 pm at her residence in Shriwardhan Apartments,Warje.

A case was registered at the Warje-Malwadi police station. According to police sources,no suicide note was found.

In another case of alleged suicide,Sakhubai Shivaji Gholap (50,Vasantsindhu apartment,Sinhgad Road,Hingane Khurd) was found hanging from a ceiling fan around 7.30 pm. A case of accidental death has been registered at the Haveli police station. Her husband, said Sakhubai was suffering from mental illness .

Suresh Mashalkar (19) a resident of Kondhwa,committed suicide around 8.30 pm. The Kondhwa police confirmed the suicide.

In another case,Pallavi Rajhans (40) was found hanging at her residence in Dhankawadi.
