Soon after paying homage to her deceased brother, former city mayor and Congress leader Rajani Tribhuvan passed away on Wednesday due to heart attack. She was 61 years old.
Her elder brother Mahendra Alhat had passed away in the city and Tribhuvan visited his residence to pay homage to her brother. “She felt uneasy while in grief and collapsed. The former mayor was taken to a hospital in Vishrantwadi where she was pronounced dead,” said a local Congress leader Suhas Yadav who was present at the location where she collapsed.
