Eye surgeons’ meet today

The Poona Opthamological Society will hold their third annual conference on Sunday,at YASHADA on Baner Road. The daylong event will be a conclave of eye surgeons. The conference will be presided over by Padmashree Dr TP Lahane,dean,JJ Hospital and Padma Bhushan Dr Noshir Shroff (Shroff Eye hospital from New Delhi) and Lt Gen Dr DP Vats,Director and Commandant,AFMC.

A lifetime achievement award will be conferred on Dr Madhusudan Jhamwar while Dr Geetanjali Sharma will get the ‘young opthalmologist’ award. Nearly 350 opthalmologists will attend,said a release.
