Journalism of Courage
A painting and photography exhibition is being held at Darpan Art gallery where paintings by Hemangee Raut and Vishal Daivadnya,and photographs by Kunal Raut are on display. The three artists bring a collection of abstract paintings in oil on canvas and semi-abstract paintings in mix-media on canvas and paper. The photographs are of the birds found in Pune,Konkan and Dandeli. The exhibition is on till May 28.
A Novel Idea
An adaptation of Rajan Khans novel Sat Na Gat is all set to to hit the theatres on June 29. Named after the novel,the movie has been produced by Renuka Shankar Mitkari,Manoj Agrawal and Ramkumar Gugale. It stars Mahesh Manjarekar,Bharat Jadhav,Vaibhav Mangle and Sayaji Shinde. Its director Raju Parsekar has earlier directed Teen Bayka Fajiti Aika and Durga Mhantyat Mala. Pravin Kunwar has given music to lyrics by Nitin Tendulkar,son of poet Ramesh Tendulkar.
