Double delight for Dhonde,Kachawa

Vaibhavi Kachawa also accomplished a similar feat,winning the Girls Under-14 as well as Under-16 titles. Kachawa,however,faced the same opponent in both her final matches. She beat her rival Suprabha Pujari 6-0 for the Under-14 title,and took the Under-16 trophy by beatingPujari yet again.

Young Neha Ghare was the third player with a chance of a double-crown,finding herself in the Under-10 and Under-12 finals. While she managed to overcome Neha Mokashi 6-2 for the Under-10 Girls title,Ghare was unfortunate to lose a tense Under-12 final against Vrushali Khaire from Baramati,who lifted the title with a narrow 6-5 victory. Another Baramati player who tasted success was Dharneedhar Mishra,who won the Boys Under-14 final by beating Omkar Ladkat 6-1.Siddhant Banthia lifted the Under-10 title with a 6-1 victory over Atharva Sharma,while Prajit Oswal blanked Shaunak Kulkarni 6-0 to win the Under-12 even.

The youngest title winners of the day were Harshal Rukhaiyar and RichaChougule,who won the Boys and Girls Under-8 finals respectively.

Harshal beat Girish Chougule 6-0,while Richa beat Madhuri Londe 6-1.
