DigiYatra to be operational at Pune International Airport’s new terminal from February 8
Union minister Murlidhar Mohol will roll out DigiYatra, which provides a fully biometric self-boarding system, at Pune International Airport's new terminal.

DigiYatra, which aims to simplify and enhance the travel experience for domestic passengers, will become operational at the new terminal of Pune International Airport from February 8, with Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation Murlidhar Mohol inaugurating the system.
DigiYatra is already functional at the old terminal of the airport. Now, all necessary approvals have been received and technical processes completed for rolling out the system at the new terminal.
Speaking about the initiative, Union minister Murlidhar Mohol recently said, “Pune International Airport is undergoing a transformation and various upgrades are being implemented to enhance passenger facilities. The launch of the DigiYatra system is part of this modernisation. DigiYatra provides a fully biometric self-boarding system, allowing passengers to complete all formalities from the entry gate to boarding without hassle.”
Mohol said the number of DigiYatra users was growing steadily at Pune Airport and that the service would greatly benefit passengers travelling from the city.
The DigiYatra service was launched across India on December 1, 2022. Over 80 lakh users have registered with the system and more than four crore journeys have been completed using it.
