Y B Chavan Memorial National Seminar on India’s Defence and Foreign Policy: Role of Yashwantraoji Chavan was organised on March 25 at Karad by city- based Centre for Advanced Strategic Studies. Various discussions held on the occasion included — India’s Foreign Policy in Changing Geo politics in which Ambassador Ronen Sen,IFS (Retd),Dilip Padgaonker,professor Varun Sahni,Jawaharlal Nehru University participated. R D Pradhan,Former Home Secretary,IAS (Retd),professor Shrikant Paranjpe,HoD,Department of Defence participated in discussion on India’s Defence Outlook.

African delegation visits NDA

PUNE: A 21 member delegation of parliamentarians from various African countries visited the NDA on March 17. The members from the African Continent were visiting NDA as part of a seven-day visit to India. The delegation was briefed on various aspects of training in the academy. The delegates were also conducted around and shown the training infrastructure of the academy. Rear Admiral Anand Iyer,Deputy Commandant and Chief Instructor of NDA and other senior officers were present.
