A financial assistance of Rs 4.2 lakh was given from Cadet Welfare Society (CWS) fund by DG NCC to the family of NCC cadet Parag Ingle who died Thursday. The cremation was held at Malegaon Friday.
A release issued by Mahesh Iyengar, spokesperson, Ministry of Defence Friday said that the help including compilation of documents, post mortem and providing ambulance to take mortal remains to Malegaon was given by NCC Gp HQ, Pune. Command Hospital, Pune, helped in completing all formalities including post mortem and handing over of body to NOK at 12.30 am the same night he died.
Parag Ingle joined National Cadet Corps in 2012 in Loyola High School. He was accidentally shot by a bullet during a practice session of the National Cadet Corps. At the cremation, wreaths were laid on behalf of DGNCC, ADG NCC Maharashtra Dte and NCC Group HQ, Pune.
