The latest dining address in town may also be farthest from the city centre. However,a visit to MoMo (Modern Living Modern Eating) Café,located at the recently-opened Courtyard by Marriott,Hinjewadi,is every bit worth the long drive. Welcomed by a lively, warm interior, which scores high on comfort and elegance, without overdoing the luxury bit,MoMo Café,an all-day dining restaurant, offers a buffet menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It also has an a-la-carte menu, which, like the décor,is unpretentious and offers some basic dishes served with élan.
At Rs 399,plus taxes, our buffet menu is sure to appeal to a cross-section of diners. Apart from the regular travellers, the MoMo Café is a haven for food aficionados, informs Vyshnavi Christopher, manager, marketing communication,Courtyard by Marriott.
Featuring a well-read wine list to accompany every meal,an array of traditional yet contemporary creations awaits guests here. With the freshest ingredients, herbs and high quality of food and service, each dining experience is sure to remain etched in your memory, asserts executive chef Subhash Sinha.
As part of the MoMo Café,there are three other dining concepts, namely the MoMo Alfresco (outdoor dining with live grill),the MoMo Bar and the MoMo2You (in-room dining). The open display kitchen at the MoMo Café has a wood-fired oven and energetic chefs serve fresh Western,Asian and Indian food; the Alfresco is where the live barbeque grill counter draws you to dine in the exquisite setting under a starlit sky and the in-room dining allows you to enjoy a meal in the comfort of your room, says Sinha.
The chef recommends Pizza Margarita (Rs 325) prepared with tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese and fresh basil, the Risotto with mushroom (Rs 350) and the Mushroom ricotta tortellini (Rs 350). Prepared from the freshest ingredients, whether it is the lettuce and basil which goes into the salads or the mascarpone cheese for the Tiramisu, everything is of the finest available quality, says Sinha.
